Green Innovation Initiative
Degre Eco Resource Centre and Energy Hub was established to be a catalytic actor in Zambia’s green transformation. Recognising that innovation alone is insufficient without the right ecosystem to nurture, demonstrate, and scale it, the Centre proposes to create a dedicated physical and virtual space where green ideas are born, tested, showcased, and commercialised.
The Green Innovation Initiative brings together three complementary partners — Degre Eco, Rainbow Electrics, and SOW Communications — to deliver a multi-faceted programme spanning eco-construction, renewable energy, organic agriculture, water systems, capacity building, and strategic communications. Hosted primarily at the Eureka Park Centre in Lusaka, the initiative will use hybrid delivery (in-person and digital) to maximise national and regional reach.
A dedicated platform where green ideas are born, tested, showcased, and commercialised — ensuring innovation has the ecosystem it needs to scale across Zambia.
